Anya Taylor-Joy plays Emma Woodhouse
There's a new version of 'Emma' by Jane Austen headed for the big screen.
Emma Woodhouse has been brought to the small and big screen numerous times previously. Even 'Clueless' was a modern take on the classic novel.
Gwyneth Paltrow, Romola Garai, and Doran Godwin have played the titular heroine in the past.
Now Anya Taylor-Joy's ('Split', 'The Witch') takes the lead.
She joined by plenty of familiar faces including Bill Nighy, Mia Goth, Miranda Hart and Gemma Whelan (Yara Greyjoy in 'Game of Thrones').
Netflix stars also feature in Tanya Reynolds from 'Sex Education' and Josh O'Connor (Prince Charles in 'The Crown').
Photographer Autumn de Wilde is directing in her feature debut. Eleanor Catton pens the screenplay.
'Emma' will hit cinemas just in time to drag your other halves out for Valentine's Day - February 14, 2020. (Just be thankful it's not another 'Fifty Shades' movie)
Here's the official teaser trailer.
