And it's edited by Topher Grace!
Topher Grace really is making a name for himself as a talented editor, even though we know him as an actor primarily.
As it turns out, Pixar actually commissioned Grace to edit together this montage - titled 'Toy Story 4 Ever' - that pulls together just about every bit of 'Toy Story' footage there is. There's the first movie in 1995, obviously, and goes right through to the fourth movie and the straight-to-TV 'Toy Story Of Terror!' and 'Toy Story That Time Forgot'.
'Toy Story 4 Ever' isn't so much a story recap as it is a mood recap, and covers all the major emotional beats of the story and where it's leading up to in 'Toy Story 4', including the return of Bo Peep, voiced by Annie Potts. Not only that, you've got Randy Newman's beautiful track, 'You've Got A Friend In Me', playing right through it just to give it all a sense of continuity.
Again, that's what makes Topher Grace such a good editor. He's able to piece together a story in an unusual way, but it's done with a level of precision that means you're never lost for what's going on. On top of all that, it's 'Toy Story' and it's all just guaranteed to make you feel a lot of feelings for animated characters.
Take a look.
