Tobey Maguire has been quiet lately, but recently wrapped the Jim Sheridan remake Brothers and has a small cameo in Ben Stiller’s Tropic Thunder; so fear not Tobey fans, we’ll see his squishy mush on the giant screens at our local multiplex’s soon. Next, he’ll star in The Crusaders, a drama that, according to Variety, is about the landmark 1954 Brown v. Board of Education case and is based on the book Crusaders in the Courts. Maguire will play Jack Greenberg who joined with NAACP Legal Defense Fund head and future Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall to win a Supreme Court case that ruled segregation in American schools illegal.
