In anticipation of the 2013 release of Monsters Inc. prequel Monsters University, those always inventive folks at Pixar have made a ridiculously comprehensive actual Monster university website full of Easter eggs and in-jokes. Seriously, this looks better than most real life college websites I've ever had to use. Also, there's a map of the campus. I love a good map so I do.
MonstersUniversity.com has all the regular facets of a university website, from information on classes and faculty members, to campus life and event calendars but all monster-fied of course. When it comes to universe building, Pixar are up there with the best of them and this is no exception. There are far too many parts of the site to go into in detail, and it looks like there's hours of material to immerse yourself in if you're so inclined, including buying your own MU varsity gear (Four armed hoodie's are currently sold out unfortunately). I'm still trying to crack the site and figure out if it's possible to log in as a student. Let us know if you have any success!
