With Paranormal Activity currently astounding folk in America with its hefty box-office takings, it comes as little surprise that a third Blair Witch film is currently being mooted by original directors, Eduardo Sánchez and Daniel Myrick. According to The Toronto Star, the proposed sequel would completely ignore the awful second film, and instead incorporate a "District 9 mix of documentary and conventional shooting." The Canadian paper also says that original stars, Heather Donahue, Joshua Leonard and Michael C. Williams would appear in the film, all be it in small roles. Sánchez and Myrick are pitching the idea to studio Lionsgate who own the rights.
