Get ready for Detective Pikachu as Legendary Pictures, the studio behind The Dark Knight trilogy are planing a live action movie focusing on Pokemon's most well known character.
Digital Spy are reporting that Legendary won the movie rights to Pokemon on Thursday are planning several projects but the first out of the block will be based on a new Nintendo console game called Great Detective Pikachu which is due to be released later this year.
It's far too early for any official casting announcements but fans did start a petition to have Danny DeVito voice Pikachu in the game earlier this year and we can't express enough how happy it would make us if this happened for the movie so please make it happen Legendary!
