It looks like there is going to be a new Teenage Mutant Hero Turtle's film, and it's not going to be a follow-up to the successful CGI cartoon that recently saw a theatrical release, but rather a live action film - just like the ones in the early 90's. The heroes in a half shell's creator Kevin Eastman spewed this to heavy metal:  "Yes, it is true. Although the CGI film did well enough to warrant a sequel, there has been much talk between Imagi and Warners to do a better ‘re-invention’ of the TMNTs, in a live action film-like what was done with Batman". He then added: "back to basics, back to the origin and the intro of the Shredder. There have been talks, trips to Northampton to talk to Mr Laird, and discussions with the original first TMNT film director (Irishman Steve Barron) to come back and do it right - but no official word yet". I'll only go and see this if Raphael is funny again - that sardonic turtle cracked me up in the earlier cartoons.
