Although principal photography has wrapped on The Force Awakens, it looks like they're still casting people for supporting roles.
Last year's sequel to The Raid, entitled Berendal, was one of the best action films we saw last year and arguably the best martial arts film we've seen in the last ten years.
Its star, Indonesian martial artist Iko Uwais, has reportedly been cast in a secondary role in the upcoming Star Wars sequel.
Uwais will be joined by fellow martial artists Cecep Arif Rahman and Yayan Ruhian - both of whom starred in The Raid 2: Berendal.
Casting martial artists isn't particularly new for Star Wars movies. The role of Darth Maul, basically the only good thing about Episode I, was played by Ray Parks - a renowned English martial artist.
Who was Darth Maul voiced by? None other than comedian Peter Serafinowicz. Bet you didn't know that. You did? Oh.
It's not known how significant a role the three martial artists play in the overall film; our guess is they turn up for a big fight sequence and that's it.
The Force Awakens lands in Irish cinemas on December 15th.
