The makers of the American version of The Office have signed up to pen a new comedy entitled Bad Teacher, which will seemingly be along the lines of the ace Bad Santa. Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky also co-wrote the incoming Harold Ramis directed, Judd Apatow produced comedy Year One - which has been giving the Groundhog Day helmer his strongest buzz in years. This film will centre on a teacher who is looking to get her claws into a colleague after her sugar daddy bins her for her gold digging ways. But she has competition in the form of another teacher, who is all together more popular at the school. No casting has been announced yet, but this could be a vehicle for the likes of Anna Faris who just had a solid opening with The House Bunny.
