This week on The Movie Show, brought to you by Jameson, we bid farewell to movie show director/camera-man/editor extraordinaire, Conor Steenson. Conor, you're a ledge. You've always been one, and you'll continue to be one, what with all the fantsatic things you'll no doubt go on to achieve. I'll miss you pal, and I'm sure you'll miss watching me neigh like a horse when I f*ck up mid take. Yes? I KNEW it. Thanks for making the movie show a thoroughly enjoyable experience. *virtualhugs*
Also on the show this week, I'm joined by two of the most popular lads in Ireland right now, The Viper and Eddie Durkan from The Hardy Bucks. Taking over the Lighthouse Cinema to mark the premiere of The Hardy Bucks Movie, in association with JDIFF, the lads are on hand to run through their top three favourite road trip movies (The Hardy Bucks Movie being of that genre too) while I give it my best shot to shteal their shtyle. 'Scraic, lads' and what have you. Am I now hardy? Not likely, but I'm on the way, like.
Then Rory Cashin drops by to review the completely bonkers Cloud Atlas, starring Tom Hanks, Halle Berry, Hugh Grant and more. Flippin' mental so it is.
If all of that wasn't enough to whet your filmic apetite, we also have a nice giveaway at the end of the show. But you'll have to watch it to win, right?
The Hardy Bucks Movie hits cinemas today and Cloud Atlas will be with you tomorrow.
'Til next week!
