Think 'Dirty Rotten Scoundrels' - but with Anne Hathaway and Rebel Wilson.
'Dirty Rotten Scoundrels' is a classic caper comedy, so a female-centric reimagining seems a given after the success of 'Ocean's 8'.
'The Hustle' sees Rebel Wilson and Anne Hathaway take the roles of Steve Martin and Michael Caine as two con-artists - one high-class, one low-rent - who are looking to bag a major mark by different means. In this case, it's a tech billionaire ala Mark Zuckerberg, played by Alex Sharp, who's due to star in the 'Game of Thrones' prequel series and will also be starring in 'Chicago 7', Aaron Sorkin's follow-up to 'Molly's Game'.
All in all, it looks like it's got the same vibe as 'Dirty Rotten Scoundrels' and Chris Addison - who starred in 'The Thick Of It' and directed a number of episodes of 'Veep' - seems like a good fit to get that biting, cynical humour.
'The Hustle' arrives in Irish cinemas on May 10th.
