If ever there was the perfect venue for a very Irish movie premiere then a very Irish Film Festival is most definitely it.
We're pretty sure that's what the boys from Castletown were thinking when they decided to hold the world premiere of The Hardy Bucks Movie at this year's Jameson Dublin International Film Festival. The flick, which sees Eddie and the boys leave their small town behind as they set off for Euro 2012 in Poland, will hit the big screen for the first time on Monday February 18th in The Light House Cinema. The Viper himself might even show his face.
But Eddie and the lads aren't the only young bucks bringing a bit of Irish comedic flavour to the festival. Fresh outta Limerick citaaay, The Rubberbandits will be making their way up to the capital for JDIFF too. Our favourite plastic bagged boyos are getting down to some serious business mind you. They'll be leaving the horse outside and sharing their wisdom on The Economics of Youtube at Filmbase on February 21st.
Between the movies, special guests, industry events and Festival Club nights at The Church, there's something for everyone.
