There’s never a dull moment in Hollywood.
Less than a fortnight before its release date of December 15th, Lionsgate, the movie’s distributor, has pulled ‘Gotti’ from its schedule and sold it back to its original producers.
The crime drama followed the life of mobster John Gotti (Travolta), head of the infamous Gambino crime family, and was directed by former Entourage cast member Kevin Connolly. It also starred Travolta’s wife Kelly Preston.
Producers Emmet/Furla/Oasis are looking for a new distributor but it’s highly unlikely one will be found before December 15th.
No reason has been given for the move thus far, but we shall keep you informed.
