The sequel hits cinemas in October
It's fair to say that 'Joker: Folie à Deux' is one of the most highly-anticipated films of the year.
Now, fans have finally glimpsed what's in store for the villainous character who was revived by Joaquin Phoenix in 2019's 'Joker'.
Following stills that were shared by director Todd Phillips, the first trailer for the film has dropped and sees Joaquin Phoenix's Arthur Fleck, a failed comedian-turned-murderer, cross paths with Harley Quinn, played by Lady Gaga.
Steve Coogan also makes a brief appearance in the trailer, although there's a disappointing lack of Brendan Gleeson, it must be said.
It's set for release on October 4th, but you can watch the trailer below:
