We're still a couple of weeks out from Spider-Man: Homecoming, but early reactions have gone online and the word is positive so far.
The film, which will be the third remake of Spider-Man since Tobey Maguire donned the Spideysuit back in 2002, sees Tom Holland swing into action as Peter Parker and square off against Michael Keaton as Vulture - with a little help from Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark.
Full reviews are, so far, embargoed but tweet reactions from critics who saw the film last night all universally praise Michael Keaton's performance, with some calling him the best Marvel villain yet. Meanwhile, other reviewers have praised the film's upbeat, almost innocent tone and said that the film's a departure from previous attempts and has flashes of John Hughes and teen comedies like Can't Hardly Wait.
Here's a selection of tweets from critics in the US who've seen the film so far. Keep an eye out for our review next week and decide for yourself when Spider-Man: Homecoming hits Irish cinemas on July 5th.
SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING is an absolute, gosh-darned DELIGHT. It's like Spider-Man meets CAN'T HARDLY WAIT.

Spider-Man: Homecoming is a blast. It has an innocence that differentiates it from the other MCU movies but plenty of fun & spectacle too.

As a huge Spider-Man fan who hated both AMAZING SPIDER-MANs, I am so happy to say SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING is really fun. Tom Holland = ðŸ'?ðŸ?»ðŸ'?ðŸ?»
