Meet The Parents was a surprise smash years ago, then its sequel, the imaginatively titled Meet The Fockers, took even more coin, so a third film in the series was inevitable. It's now officially going ahead and will be called Little Fockers, and see Ben Stiller's character now as a father to the aforementioned little fockers. The director of the first two, Jay Roach, will not return, instead serving only as a producer, so helming duties are tipped to be going to Role Models helmer David Wain, who would be a fantastic choice. It's thought that all main cast members will return, with Owen Wilson's role from the first film being beefed up. The first film was genuinely good fun, and gave De Niro his biggest hit in years; but the last one felt jaded despite the inclusion of Dustin Hoffman and Barbara Streisand. A new director may just be what the franchise needed, so fingers crossed Wain bags the gig.
