There are so many stars shooting movies in Ireland right now

As previously reported, there are a tonne of big name actors currently visiting our shores shooting some major projects.

'Disenchanted', the sequel to 'Enchanted', is just one such project, shooting in Wicklow and other locations around Ireland.

Amy Adams, Patrick Dempsey and Maya Rudolph are among the leads.

The likes of Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Hugh Grant and others, meanwhile, are currently filming the new 'Dungeons and Dragons' movie in Northern Ireland.

Just this week, Elizabeth Banks ('The Hunger Games', 'Pitch Perfect') announced she has moved here ahead of commencing production on a film she is directing.

It's called 'Cocaine Bear' and is based on a true story from 1985. A 175-pound black bear consumed the contents of a duffle bag filled with more than 70 pounds of cocaine that was dropped from an airplane by a local drug smuggler. The bear subsequently died.

Deadline has just announced the cast for the feature from Universal Studios. And it's a big one.

Keri Russell, O’Shea Jackson, Ray Liotta, Alden Ehrenreich and Jesse Tyler Ferguson are all set to star. So keep an eye out for them as they arrive in Ireland over the coming weeks.

Phil Lord, Chris Miller and Aditya Sood are producing 'Cocaine Bear' while Jimmy Warden is penning the script.

Production will start on August 23rd in Ireland.
