Clint Eastwood really is a consistent filmmaker, even in his advancing years. The legendary actor/director will helm Leonardo DiCaprio, Charlize Theron and The Social Network star Armie Hammer in, J Edgar.
We've know for a while that DiCaprio was playing the former FBI head honcho, but Vulture are saying Eastwood wants Theron to play his secretary, while Entertainment Weekly have broken the news on Hammer's casting. Hammer, who also made amusing appearances in the criminally cancelled show, Reaper, will play Hoover's confidant and rumoured gay lover. The actor is very much in demand after his scene stealing turn(s) in David Fincher's awards hopeful, and is still being linked with Superman.
