Remember the days when you'd first hear the Bond theme tune whilst watching the movie in the cinema? Well, with the advent of d'internet, we no longer have to wait. For those of you too excited to hold out until Friday (when it gets its official release) to hear the full track, you can listen to a sneaky preview of Adele's highly anticipated Skyfall theme right here. The Skyfall theme tune was written by Adele herself with the help of producer Paul Epworth. You can pre-order it right now on iTunes.
Commenting on her involvement with the 23rd installment of the Bond series, Adele said: "I was a little hesitant at first to be involved with the theme song for Skyfall... There's a lot of instant spotlight and pressure when it comes to a Bond song. But I fell in love with the script and Paul had some great ideas for the track and it ended up being a bit of a no brainer to do it in the end... It was also a lot of fun writing to a brief, something I've never done which made it exciting. When we recorded the strings, it was one of the proudest moments of my life... I'll be back combing my hair when I'm 60 telling people I was a Bond girl back in the day I'm sure."
Adele's been known for penning a cracker of a song, but where this one's concerned, OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder even went so far as to say the theme - "the best Bond song in my lifetime" should win Adele an Oscar.
