Folks, this is the Flatliners remake all over again.

Who really wants to see a fourth Rush Hour movie? Be honest with yourself for a minute and look within. Think hard on it. Do you really, actually want to see a fourth Rush Hour movie? Were the first three actually that good? There's so much content in the world right now, do we honestly have to contend with a fourth Rush Hour movie?

While you ponder this most serious question, here's the facts. In an interview with the San Francisco Chronicle, Chan confirmed that a fourth Rush Hour is happening and that he's due to meet with Chris Tucker to get the ball rolling. "Good news. Next year, Rush Hour 4, and I hope the script done. And day after tomorrow we meet the director and Chris Tucker again to make sure we go the right track."

This follows on from another interview Chan did with Power 106 in Los Angeles where he was asked about Rush Hour 4. According to Chan, the ball is in Chris Tucker's court. "For the last seven years, we’ve been turning down the script, turning down the script. Yesterday, we just agreed… the script, probably end of this month. They’re on the second draft. Next year, probably start. I hope. If Chris Tucker agrees."

So, yeah, Chris Tucker - this is on you. Tucker's career has been an interesting one, to say the least. Other than the Oscar-bait drama Billy Lynn's Halftime Walk last year, Tucker's previous credit was another Oscar-bait drama in the form of Silver Linings Playbook. Prior to that and you've got Rush Hour 3.

Tucker's first love is, and always has been, stand-up comedy - so it's probably a case of whether or not he's not touring or filming a special around the same time. Either way, get ready for more of this in the near future.
