Ryan Reynolds has been confirmed as the man who will play The Green Lantern. The actor is just off a massive hit with The Proposal opposite Sandra Bullock, and was one of three being considered for the part of the DC comic book hero, alongside Justin Timberlake and Bradley Cooper. This is the vehicle that Reynolds has been waiting for; one that can showcase his obvious charisma and leading man skills on a massive scale. The film is due to start shooting in January with Martin Campbell at the helm. We'll have an interview with the man himself next week, so keep an eye out for it.
