The actor released a lengthy statement on Twitter

Ray Fisher's character Cyborg will no longer feature in DC's upcoming 'The Flash'.

The movie would see Ezra Miller, who played Flash, aka Barry Allen, in 'Justice League', reprise the role.

Fisher has been involved in a lengthy and public battle with Warner Bros for several months now.

A couple of weeks ago, he indicated he was leaving the DC Universe for good after tweeting "I will not participate in any production associated with [Walter Hamada]", who is the studio's chief.

In a new tweet, Fisher released a lengthy statement in which he confirmed that "Warner Bros. Pictures has decided to remove me from the cast of The Flash."

He continued: "I strongly disagree with their decision, but it is one that is unsurprising.

"Despite the misconception, Cyborg's involvement in The Flash was much larger than a cameo - and while I do mourn the lost opportunity to bring Victor Stone back to the screen, bringing awareness to the actions of Walter Hamada will prove to be a much more important contribution to our world."

Fisher then details accusations against Hamada regarding the 'Justice League' misconduct and workplace abuse investigation .
