In case you've been living under a rock for the past few weeks, the Oscars are taking place this Monday morning (Irish time), when all of the biggest names who don't win will feign delight for those that do.

Over at Ranker.com, they have compiled a list of seven folk they think are the biggest Oscar flops of all time. Meaning, they won awards, then had a pretty atrocious career thereafter. You won't be shocked to find that Cuba Gooding Jr. is number one, but Crash writer/director Paul Haggis somehow managed to pop in there. He's only directed one film since, and it was the strong, if overly symbolic, The Valley of Elah - for which its star, Tommy Lee Jones picked up an Oscar nomination. I personally think these kinds of lists are stupid, as it tries to split said winners career in two parts - pre and post Oscar. Guys like Kevin Costner and Gooding Jr. may have made some garbage since then; but not all their work was shite.

Don't forget that we'll be blogging live as the Oscars happen from our Oscar page over yonder.
