Since our Blade Runner screening at Sugar Club on April 8th was a sell-out (No, really - it's totally SOLD OUT), we thought we'd keep it going with another one.
And what better way to follow up a seminal piece of thought provoking science-fiction than by screening a classic slapstick comedy from the 80s and 90s!
This time, we want YOU to help pick what film we should watch. We've got five choices...
5. CADDYSHACK (1980)
Starring Bill Murray, Chevy Chase, Rodney Dangerfield and featuring a cracking soundtrack from Kenny Loggins, Caddyshack is easily one of the best sports comedies ever made.
4. A NIGHT AT THE ROXBURY (1998)
Starring a pre-Anchorman Will Ferrell and Chris Kattan, it tells the story of two dim-witted brothers who are desperate to get into the prestigious Roxbury Nightclub.
3. 3 NINJAS (1992)
If we get enough votes for 3 Ninjas, we will totally screen 3 Ninjas. We are not even close to joking.
2. THE MONEY PIT (1986)
Tom Hanks, believe it or not, was a fantastic slapstick comedy actor and The Money Pit is undeniable proof. When he and his wife, Cheers' Shelly Long, buy a wreck of a house with the plans to rebuild it, it soon turns into - you guessed it - a money pit.
1. THIS IS SPINAL TAP (1984)
Considered the first mockumentary, This Is Spinal Tap follows a fictional hard-rock band on a fateful tour that will see them pushed to the edge.
