Seth Rogen has spoken about the possibility of Pineapple Express 2, a few months after his writing and producing partner Evan Goldberg also mentioned it.
"I don't think it's so precious that I wouldn't want to ruin it with a sequel. So yeah, I would be [interested]. We talk about it. We joke around about it." Rogen spewed, Goldberg just co-penned the hilarious Seann William Scott starring hockey flick, Goon, and previously spokeabout mixing up the characters of McLovin and Franco "Well, we toyed with that idea right after Pineapple came out. We thought that people would enjoy McLovin and Franco together; but we're never going to touch Superbad ever again, that's a terrible idea."
I dunno, I'd actually really like to see that. Pineapple Express is still hilarious and it'd be an interesting take on a sequel, no?
