There's still a good eight months before we'll get to see Mark Hamill properly reprise his most iconic role in Star Wars: The Last Jedi and if you're finding the wait to be hard going then Hamill has got some juicy nostalgia to tide you over in the meantime.
The actor took to Twitter to share a behind the scenes photo of himself on his very first day on set for A New Hope. The photo, which features a boyish looking Hamill in full costume in the Tunisian desert, is perhaps the first ever photo of Luke Skywalker.

It's hard to imagine Hamill knew he was about to become a huge part of a multi billion dollar franchise back then but he claims that he knew they were "on a winner" despite the lack of faith displayed by some members of the crew.
Judging by my clueless expression, probably both. Crew was kind but thought #SW was "rubbish"-I kept telling them"We're on a winner!"#LOLuke https://t.co/S6mzZbWLvD
