...but hey, it's more than we've seen from this production in quite a while.
As Macbeth rampages through the indie box office and hints and talks of possible Oscar glory for it, director Justin Kurzel and producer / star Michael Fassbender are busy moving on with Assassin's Creed, The First Decent Videogame Adaptation. As we reported a few days ago, Ubisoft's film chief is drawing comparisons between Assassin's Creed and Blade Runner and, if these few measly set photos tell us anything, it's that they're going into the sci-fi aspect of it quite well.
Take a look.

That's the Abstergo Industries logo, who essentially are the bad guys of the Assassin's Creed universe. To go through everything they're involved in would take us a few days and involve red-strings and a corkboard with a hierarchy of pictures. Really.

The one thing that can be said about Assassin's Creed is that the world is richly developed and very, very detailed. This little image is telling in that it obviously points to how accurate and faithful they'll be to the original games, whilst still ploughing their own furrow. We won't know anything for quite some time yet, but in the meantime, we can pour over these and make up wild theories of our own.
