Excellent director Peter Berg is in negotiations to direct an adaptation of the board game, Battleship. Michael Bay was at a point attached to helm what we're assuming is a naval based action film, and not two extremely bored people breaking out the plastic. Berg last directed the box-office smash Hancock, and is also responsible for the best sports movie of all time, Friday Night Lights, and the thoroughly enjoyable Welcome To The Jungle. Universal are also prepping a film version of Monopoly with Ridley Scott directing - we shit you not.
