He's been doing solid work for years, so why not get a shout-out?
It's not every day you see Satan getting a shout-out in the middle of an awards speech, much less the Golden Globes - but then again, not everybody's Christian Bale.
The actor, who scooped up a win for Best Actor (Comedy / Musical) at this year's Golden Globes, thanked Old Nick during his speech, but it was his accent that appeared to shock more people than anything else. Yes, people, Christian Bale was born in Wales and considers him English.
Had no idea this many people believed Christian Bale was American.

Bale also put himself forward for the role of Mitch McConnell in the inevitable movie about Trump's presidency, before he thanked Satan for "the inspiration" to play Vice President Dick Cheney.
