Orlando Bloom was in a nostalgic mood yesterday as 'The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring' celebrated the 15th anniversary of the first in Peter Jackson's trilogy being released in cinemas, and marked the occasion by sharing some behind-the-scenes photos from the set of the film that gave him his big break.
In a series of posts to Instagram and Facebook, Bloom showed off Legolas makeup tests, the cast on set and on breaks between shooting and in their downtime in New Zealand
Considering the film was made in a time before social media and the ubiquity and cameras in phones, it's a marvel that these photos still exist.
Bloom clearly has a very well treasured shoe box under a bed somewhere.
