No Taron Egerton or Colin Firth this time round, we're afraid

The official trailer for 20th Century Fox's 'The King's Man' is here.

Set in the 1900s, 'The King's Man' serves as a prequel to the Kingsman action-spy-comedy series starring Taron Egerton, Colin Firth and Mark Strong.

None of them will be appearing in this film though as it's set years before the events of 'Secret Service'.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ralph Fiennes, Charles Dance, Matthew Goode, and Gemma Arterton all star in 'The King's Man'. Djimon Hounsou, Daniel Brühl, Stanley Tucci and Tom Hollander also star.

The official plot synopsis reads:

"As a collection of history’s worst tyrants and criminal masterminds gather to plot a war to wipe out millions, one man must race against time to stop them. Discover the origins of the very first independent intelligence agency in 'The King’s Man'…"

Matthew Vaughn, who has helmed all the 'Kingsman' films so far, returns to write and direct. His regular collaborator Jane Goodman is also back.

The movie hits cinemas February 2020.

After that, if you can't get enough of 'Kingsman', you'll be happy to hear that a spin-off following the 'Stateman' (introduced in 'Golden Circle') and two more sequels - which Egerton is back for while Firth is yet to be confirmed - are arriving in the coming years.
