A sequel to Dracula is imminent, as Bram Stoker's Great Grand Nephew, Dacre Stoker (damn goth's) has penned a book and the rights have already been sold, with Jan De Bont (Speed) set to produce and possibly direct. The book, titled Dracula: The Undead, will not be released until October 2009, with the film to start shooting a few months previous to that in June. It's apparently set 20 odd years after the ending of the original Dracula and sees the heroes who prevailed at the conclusion being stalked by someone, or something. It's intriguing to say the least, but De Bont as a director doesn't exactly inspire confidence - that is if he's seriously being considered to helm as well as produce.
