Batshit Three Kings helmer, David O. Russell is said to be in negotiations to direct Jim Carrey comedy Under Cover, according to Dark Horizons, by way of The LA Times.
Carrey has been slated to star as a man trying to win back his family. He apparently "turns to the therapeutic power of a classic rock cover band to help him rediscover his voice." I have no idea what that means, but I'm sure it'll be damn well quirky etc.
O. Russell has finished shooting Mark Wahlberg/Christian Bale awards contender The Fighter, and obviously wants to go a little lighter afterwards. He's not confirmed yet, but Carrey is.
