Michael Moore is to release his next film online for free. Slacker Uprising is the latest in his series of anti-Bush documentaries, this one chronicling Moore's attempts to get voters registered ahead of the 2004 presidential election. Moore says, "I thought it'd be a nice way to celebrate my 20th year of doing this, and also help get out the vote for November. I've been thinking about what I want to do to help with the election this year." This marks the first time in which a movie has been made available to the public in this way and is perhaps a response to his previous film Sicko being leaked online and widely downloaded. The film will be available to download from 23rd September.
