The film is released in cinemas in November
'Moana' has become a hugely popular film in the Disney canon over the years, so when news of a sequel was first revealed, expectations were high.
Now, the first trailer for 'Moana 2' has been revealed.
Set three years after the original, it sees Dwayne Johnson return as Maui and Auliʻi Cravalho as the voice of Moana, as they embark on another adventure together.
The trailer invites viewers to join "Moana and Maui three years later for an expansive new voyage alongside a crew of unlikely seafarers. After receiving an unexpected call from her wayfinding ancestors, Moana must journey to the far seas of Oceania and into dangerous, long-lost waters for an adventure unlike anything she’s ever faced."
Many of the cast and crew will return for the sequel, although Lin-Manuel Miranda - who wrote songs for 'Moana' - is not believed to have contributed to the soundtrack this time around.
A live-action remake of 'Moana' is also in the works, which Dwayne Johnson announced last year.
For now, however, you can watch the sequel trailer below. It hits cinemas in November.
