Michelle Obama doesn’t tweet all that often but when she does, you sure as heck better listen to what she has to say, because you can be guaranteed that it's an important message.
The former First Lady was one of many who rushed to the cinema to see Black Panther last weekend, contributing to its breaking a bunch of records including 5th biggest opening weekend of all time and biggest February opening weekend ever.
Sharing her thoughts on the movie and its significance, Obama tweeted:
Congrats to the entire #blackpanther team! Because of you, young people will finally see superheroes that look like them on the big screen. I loved this movie and I know it will inspire people of all backgrounds to dig deep and find the courage to be heroes of their own stories.
