The Sexiest Man Alive will also be The Sexiest Director Alive.
Although it's a long way off from hitting screens, a third 'Creed' movie is on the way - and what's more, the director has been announced.
Tessa Thompson, who played the love interest in the past two 'Creed' movies, confirmed that none other than Michael B. Jordan is set to get in front and behind the camera for the third 'Creed' movie. "It's going to be ammo, I think, for me when he is engaging with me as a director. I'm just going to tell him to dial down the sexiness," Thompson told MTV in a recent interview.
So far, details on 'Creed III' are very light, but what is known is that Sylvester Stallone has said he's bowing out of the franchise. In 2018, just as 'Creed II' arrived in cinemas, Stallone confirmed that that movie would be his last. "It’s been my ultimate privilege to have been able to create and play this meaningful character," Stallone said at the time. "Though it breaks my heart, sadly all things must pass… and end."
Since the success of 'Creed' and 'Black Panther', Michael B. Jordan's star has steadily been on the rise, so taking on something like this as a directorial debut seems like a natural progression. On top of that, the 'Rocky' franchise has a long history of being directed by its star. Now that Stallone has moved on, why not let Jordan take on directing duties?
The big question, of course, is who is Adonis Creed going to face in the third one? They've already done the father / son thing with Ivan Drago in 'Creed II', so would it make sense to do it again? The only other potential father / son opponent would be Clubber Lang's son. To be fair, Mr. T is still knocking around, so it's not the craziest idea?
All you need is Clubber Lang stepping out of a crowd, shouting at Adonis Creed and it's good to go. "Don't give this sucka no statue! GIVE 'EM GUTS!"
