The pair will play an FBI agent and a Chief of Police on the hunt for a killer
If you've ever wondered what Mel Gibson and Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson might look like in a film together, wonder no more.
The unlikely pair are set to feature in a new crime thriller movie called 'Boneyard', which is currently filming in Las Vegas.
Variety reports that the film is based on a true story about an FBI agent (Gibson), who is on the hunt for a serial killer known as The Bone Collector - but the Chief of Police (Jackson) in Albuquerque believes that the killer is in his own department.
Jackson is no stranger to acting, of course, having appeared in Starz drama 'Power' and a multitude of action films; he'll next be seen in 'The Expendables 4'.
Gibson, meanwhile - who has suffered from personal troubles over the years - has been kept busy in various nondescript action films, as well as a John Wick spin-off 'The Continental', set for release on Peacock this autumn. His name has also been attached to the rumoured 'Lethal Weapon 5' sequel.
Asif Akbar is directing 'Boneyard', which also stars Brian Van Holt ('Black Hawk Down'.)
