Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson are moving to TV, all be it for one brief series, with the show True Detective which is currently being shopped to cable networks says The Live Feed (via Dakrhorizons).
The show would centre on Harrelson and McConaughey's sleuths, tracking down a serial killer in Louisiana. It would run across an eight episode first season with each subsequent season seeing a complete refresh of the cast, setting and storyline - somewhat akin to that of FX show American Horror Story. Jane Eyre shooter Cary Fukunaga is attached to direct.
Two very big names for a TV show, might just be a case of what networks have room in their schedules for it.
