TV director Alan Taylor has been confirmed to take on the Thor sequel for Marvel Studios says Deadline.com.
Taylor has helmed episodes of some of the most popular shows on your tellybox, including Mad Men, Game of Thrones and Boardwalk Empire. He takes over from Monster director Patty Jenkins, who exited to "creative differences" with Marvel head honchos. Jenkins described the parting as amicable, and said she hoped to work with the fledging studio again.
The sequel is still on schedule for a November 13th 2013 release.
