Another name has been added to the list of actors set to star in the sequel to 'The Amazing Spiderman'. Martin Sheen is set to reprise is role as Uncle Ben in the movie. He will be joining Dane DeHaan, Jamie Foxx and Shailene Woodley, who all signed up to the movie last week.
Speaking about the role, Sheen said 'They've called me back, I don't know what the part is gonna be, but I'm going to be Uncle Ben once again in Spider-Man next year. We shoot it in February.' Given Uncle Ben was shot in the first film, it is most likely that his character will be a flashback or a dream scene rather than a return from the dead. The film is rumoured to be centred on the family with the mystery of what happened to Peter's parents at the forefront of the story.
The Amazing Spiderman begins shooting in February 2013 and will see Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone return as Peter Parker and his love interest Gwen Stacey respectively.
