Disney plan to revive the movie franchise for its new streaming service
Yesterday, news broke of Disney's plans to resurrect various movie franchises for their new streaming service.
Alongside the likes of 'Night at the Museum' and 'Cheaper by the Dozen', CEO Bob Iger said that family favourite 'Home Alone' would be 'reimagined for a new generation' for Disney+.
However, not everyone was impressed by the idea of the childhood classic(s) being messed with, and took to social media to speculate on what a 'Home Alone' reboot might entail.
One of those people was none other than the star of 1&2, Macaulay Culkin:

The Home Alone reboot should take place in Dublin and feature a plucky child fighting two burglars with only his pluck, wits and the 32 people he co-lives with.

I don't want a Home Alone reboot, I want a sequel with Catherine O'Hara and Macaulay Culkin abandoning the rest of the family to go on fabulous vacations
