Gabriel Macht, Hank Azaria and Oliver Platt have signed on to the romantic comedy, Love and Other Drugs, which is being directed by Ed Zwick. They join Anne Hathaway, Jake Gyllenhaal, Judy Greer and Josh Gad who had already been cast. The film, which is based on the book, Hard Sell: The Evolution of a Viagra Salesman, marks a departure from the uber serious and pretty banal work Zwick has been doing lately. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Azaria will play an unscrupulous doctor and client of Gyllenhaal's character, while Platt plays his boss, a beleaguered pharmaceutical rep desperate to boost sales. The underrated Macht has signed on to play a hotshot salesman. Good cast, but that hasn't stopped Zwick from making crap films before.
