Is it just us or is Disney really pushing the live-action films lately? You've got Angelina Jolie in Maleficent, you've got the Cinderella live-action film and now, Disney have confirmed they're working on a Cruella DeVille live-action film.
Imaginatively titled 'Cruella', the film will be penned by Aline Brosh McKenna, who previously wrote The Devil Wears Prada script and We Bought A Zoo. She's also currently working on the Cinderlla live-action script as well. Glenn Close, who played DeVille in the 101 Dalmatians live-action film back in 1996, will be involved as an executive producer.
There's no word yet on casting or whether or not Close will be returning to her role, but we're guessing it's going to be a prequel story. Everything is nowadays. So who'd be good for a young Cruella DeVille? Stay with us. Lady Gaga. Yes, really. She dresses like Cruella DeVille on a regular basis anyway and you just know she wants to get into acting.
