"Hi Carrie"
We always knew the force was strong with Carrie Fisher in life but now she may have proven it in death. Ahead of the upcoming release of 'Star Wars: Episode IX – The Rise Of Skywalker', the cast and crew held a panel discussion at the Comic-Con Experience in Brazil this week.
Director JJ Abrams was chatting about how he integrated Fisher's Princess Leia into the latest film using previously unused footage of the actor, who died in December 2016. While explaining the process, he mentioned the use of lighting and suddenly a light in the auditorium flicked on and off.
"That’s amazing," Abrams said. Adding, "That was creepy, hi Carrie.
"That's so Carrie, by the way, to do that."
The lights suddenly went out and JJ Abrams said “Hi, Carrie!” while taking about how he worked Carrie Fisher in #TheRiseOfSkywalker. #StarWars pic.twitter.com/o0vwtofHfX
