The very lovely Leslie Mann (she flirted with me once, I'm easy like that) has spoken about her starring role in her husband Judd Apatow's mouth-watering follow-up to Knocked Up, This is Forty.
She told The LA Times, "It’s about getting older. What the hell happened? Am I making all the right choices? Is this where I’m supposed to be? Is this it? All of those dreams that you had when you were young, all of the possibilities, when you lock into marriage and kids, do the possibilities dwindle or go away?" Plot wise apparently, "Pete’s (the brilliant Paul Rudd) music label is struggling and Debbie’s vanity business, a dress shop staffed by the comely Desi (Megan Fox) and the awkward Jodi (Charlyne Yi), needs to help cover the household budget."
This is Forty might be the movie I'm looking forward to most next summer. I loved Knocked Up and what Apatow has done for R-rated comedies in general is pretty incredible. Look at the current crop of comedy actors who blossomed because of him or worked with him at some point. Expect this winter of 2012.
