Directed by James Stacey, the latest short to be produced by the very talented folks at Souljacker looks very slick indeed. Origin, scripted by Matthew Darragh and James Stacey, with an original score by Ronan O Snodaigh of Kila, tells the story of a young man on the brink of emigration, but as he races through the streets of Dublin he comes to realise the spirit he’s leaving behind. The film will premiere on July 9th at the Galway Film Fleadh, and was funded through the Irish Film Board’s Short Shorts scheme. You can have a look at the trailer below.
