Keanu Reeves is all the rage lately, what with the news that he'll be working with possible Oscar Winner David Fincher on his new film Chef, and his latest blockbuster The Day The Earth Stood Still about to hit screens globally. Now, he's signed up to star in the samurai flick, 47 Ronin, which is said to be an "ultra stylised" take on the mystical Japanese sword swingers. Reeves will play a member of the group who goes a bit loco after his master is killed and vows revenge. The script has been penned by Wanted scribe Chris Morgan, so expect the sword equivalent of bending bullets or something. The script has been written with Reeves in mind for the lead role, so that probably means his character won't have to do anything too taxing.
