The very lovely and talented Kat Dennings has joined the now bulging cast of Thor. The actress joins Chris Hemsworth (the hammer wielding demi-god), Tom Hiddleston, Natalie Portman, Anthony Hopkins, Jaimie Alexander, Colm Feore, Samuel L. Jackson, Stellan Skarsgard, Stuart Townsend, Ray Stevenson, Tadanobu Asano and Idris Elba in the Kenneth Branagh helmed production.
According to Variety, Dennings will play supporting character Darcy, who works with Natalie Portman's love interest. Portman gave away Dennings casting in an interview earlier this week, while the trades then confirmed it.
Dennings has appeared in The 40 Year Old Virgin, Charlie Bartlett, and most recently, the excellent, Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist, opposite Michael Cera.
