Jason Reitman has cast the female lead in his George Clooney led romantic comedy, The Air I Breath. Anna Kendrick, who has a small part in the soon-to-be-released Twilight as one of Kristen Stewart's human friends, will take the meaty role of a young woman who finds herself in a job as a "career transition counsellor", or someone who fires people for a living. Reitman apparently had his Juno star Ellen Paige read for the lead role, as well as the very much in demand Emily Blunt, but punted on an unknown after Kendrick impressed thoroughly in an audition. The film is now hurtling towards production for a proposed release in the late summer of next year.
